At Guildford Grammar, learning is an immersive journey shaped by tradition and innovation.
We inspire each student to grow in character, resilience, and creativity—qualities essential for navigating tomorrow’s world. From early years through to graduation, our students explore, question, and discover in an environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
The Ideals in our school
Round Square IDEALS are embedded across daily learning, co-curricular programs and the broader student experience. Internationalism is strengthened through exchanges, immersions and growing global partnerships. Democracy takes shape through student voice programs, including debating, Model UN, Philosothon and leadership forums. Our connection to Environmental Stewardship is grounded in Outdoor Learning, Bush School, sustainability initiatives and our deep relationship with Wadjuk Noongar Boodjar. Adventure is cultivated through the Outdoor Learning Program (Years 1–9), Cadets, Duke of Edinburgh and activities that challenge students to reach beyond their comfort zones. Leadership is grounded in service, with meaningful roles available through Houses, enrichment programs and student-led initiatives. Service is lived through Guildford Connect and community partnerships that give students real opportunities to contribute.
What being a Round Square school means to us
Becoming a Round Square Candidate School reflects Guildford Grammar’s commitment to developing young people who act with integrity, curiosity and compassion. It connects our community to a global network that values character and active citizenship in the same way we do.
For our students, it strengthens Guildford Horizons by opening more opportunities for exchanges, immersions, leadership conferences and collaborative projects with like-minded schools. For our staff, it creates professional connections and shared learning across cultures.
Being part of Round Square gives our community a clear framework for shaping confident, capable students who are ready to contribute to a just, loving and peaceful society.
