My hero is Courageous Collette, and her new sidekick is Brave River. They live in a small town where troubles big and small can occur at any moment. Together they formed the perfect team, each bringing something special to their adventures.

Courageous Collette was known for her fearlessness and quick thinking. With her bright blue cape, she faced every challenge head on never backing down from a challenge. She was strong, determined and always ready to lead the way when danger appeared. Whether it was helping a kitten stuck in a drain or helping someone find their lost toy, or helping a lost child find their mum in the park, Collette was always there to lend a hand.

But even people like Courageous Collette need help sometimes. That is where Brave River came in. Though he is just a small boy and younger than Courageous Collette, Brave River had a heart full of courage. He looked up to Courageous Collette and liked how confident she was, but he also had his own special strengths. He was quick to encourage others, always offering a helping had when someone was scared and needing to be brave. He was gentle and patient and always willing to step in when Courageous Collette needed him. He helps her by teaching her to control her feelings when it is hard too, particularly if she sees people doing wrong to others, she will tell them to stop.

Together they made an unstoppable duo. When Courageous Collette was in the middle of a tricky situation Brave River reminder her that even heroes could ask for help and that it is okay if it feels to challenging. If she hesitated before climbing a ladder or facing a challenge that needed teamwork, Brave River would smile and say, “we can do this together!” His confidence in her made her even stronger, and with his support, she never felt alone even if she is on stage preforming or even just speaking Brave River will be cheering her on.

At the same time, Courageous Collette helped Brave River find his own bravery even more. Whenever he doubted himself, she reminded him that being brave did not mean never being scared. It meant doing the right thing even when it was difficult. If he were nervous about speaking up or taking that first step to help someone, she would encourage him by saying “I believe in you.” With her by his side Brave River learned to trust himself and take on bigger challenges.

No matter what problem the town faced, Courageous Collette and Brave River were there to help. They climbed, rescued, helped and encouraged others. They knew that bravery and courage were not just about strength, it was about kindness, teamwork and never giving up.

Together they made their small town a better place proving that even the youngest heroes could make a difference by just helping a bit, even when the problems are as big as a house or as small as an ant.
