In a world of misery and sadness we tend to overlook the magic and supernatural forces that surround us, in particular, the power that exists around us – the ‘’RS discovery heroes’’ you may wonder what a strange way to describe fictional superheroes but let this story change your perspective, let this be your new understanding of Lumora – A land where superheroes do exist just not in the way you would have imagined!

It all began on a tranquil evening, one may even call it monotonous, everything was as typical and normal as one could imagine, life was just as it had been the day before and the day before yesterday and so on. The center of the city was lit up with the blue flame or the INFAMOUS circle of harmony, a popular attraction between those inhabiting Lumora.

The blue flame was characterized by a rainbow-like refraction of 12 colors emphasizing the 12 heroes of our story, each of them responsible for creating the perfect environment one wouldn’t dream of leaving

It was almost within a blink of the eye that the flame turned ashy grey and then suddenly a misty dreamy black color almost resembling a piece of coal. It seemed as though the world suddenly paused, everything and everyone still with confusion and anxiousness, some checked their phones, others phoned their loved ones to inform them of this unprecedented circumstance. A crowd turned into frenzy demanding questions from the superheroes, who in turn were equally startled. With a blink of the eye, another mystery provoked, suddenly all of the superheroes were drained of their vibrant color becoming almost transparent, invisible, as if they never existed.

Chaos, havoc, hostility, paranoia fumed among people. No clarity of thought, no sense of belonging emerged. Collette (the guardian of courage) looks around helpless, with millions of questions and no answers, she would have generally been the epitome of providing valor however in this particular situation she felt lonely, discouraged and petrified. After all it was a known fact for the only thing she was scared of was chaos and it emerged like flies on an open donut on a summer morning.  This fear led her to provoke and project fear to all those little tiny humans who had always relied on her.

Papri (the problem solver) was stuck in an endless spiral for he could not think straight with the pressure to save millions of life, yes he was gifted to find a solution to almost anything but he had never been tested in front of all those who were at stake merely due to a solution he proposed. He circled around in confusion unable to make a decision, indecisive on all the possibilities.

Carlos (the compassionate one) had previously always been able to show endless positive empathy to those around but all these negative emotions that fumed in the air made it all impossible for him to comprehend, after all even the strongest of kings have been known to become overwhelmed. He slowly bowed his head as all the negative emotions clouded around him, obstructing thinking, the world was suddenly full of misery and poor Carlos was not prepared to handle it.

One by one, each of the superheroes were depleted of the magic they held previously, unforeseen circumstances led to unanticipated consequences, they had been prepared to fight wars individually but the downfall of one led to another and so on. It was no secret that this was almost the end of it all. The world was bound to end. No more magic. No more compassion. No more courage. No more No more. No more.

Between all this madness, emerged one distinct pearl white light, Tama – the superhero of team work. To a layman, team work would probably be considered the least heroic and the most effortless job of all but it was in such a situation where this mere force was what was the shining light for all those around. She moved swiftly, with a swirl from one superhero to another, whispering something in their pointy ears. Some assumed perhaps she was using counter spells or perhaps chants but to everyone’s surprise she merely spoke a few words to each. These fleeting phrases drastically led to a sudden ecstasy amongst the superheroes, as though she had extinguished the vulnerability and sucked it all up.

You may wonder, what could be these so-called magical phrases? Upon reaching Collette, she reminds the courageous, heroic soul that spirit lies in a team, that we must approach problems as a united group, ready to face any battles that may lie our way. Next she passed to Papri and Carlos teaching them both to understand one another and solve their problem in unison. One possessed the power of problem solving while the other of intellectual understanding, both of which could exist concurrently leading up to a concrete solution to the devastating dilemma. And so with emerging energy she moved on from one superhero to another reminding them of the power of ordinary – the power of working together, the need of navigating obstacles as a coalition and the necessity of these ‘Discovery Heroes’ to discover themselves as a group before helping the world conquer its problem.

Colors returned to the air itself—gauzy golden light filtered through clouds, birds with resplendent feathers passed overhead, and even the trees glowed afresh, their leaves full of emerald, jade, and amber colors. The once-dulled skies trilled with coral and lavender stripes, tinting a living palette of rebirth. Every corner of Lumora understood it: the earth gasping anew, the winds warbling peace songs, and the world, reunited, flowering in the power of unity. The heroes realize that their powers shine brightest when shared.

As for Tama? She discreetly steps back, smiling to herself, exclaiming-  “Some heroes lead from the front. I lead by linking hands.”
